Make sure that the SCSI ID numbers for the drives are different
and, since you're using Apple's High Speed SCSI, that neither is set to
7.
The device at the end of the chain should be terminated. Other
devices should not be terminated.
There needs to be a source of Termination Voltage. If your Apple
SCSI card has not been modified to supply it, then, whatever device you
stick on the end of the chain should be one which supplies Termination
Voltage.
