Yes; but, unless you have an odd bunch of INITs and/or DA's, it
should not be necessary to go through the hassle of a Shift-boot.
Besides, when, thanks to Shift-booting, you manage to exit the game
safely, it is to a System with many of its goodies ripped out.
Wolf-3D does not exit correctly on a rather standard GS setup. It
is reasonable to say that the game has a Bug which needs to be
corrected.
