Not quite. 10 out of 10 times you can format a high density 3.5"
disk in a double density drive (as I stated, they work exactly like
real double density diskettes--the questionable part is how long the
data will remain intact). I'm not debating whether it is a smart move
to be using them in a double density drive (and I'm sure it probably
isn't) just how they're treated by the drive.
When talking high density 5.25 disks, *0* out of 10 times (or any
amount of tries for that matter) will they format in a double density
floppy drive. They are _completely_ unusable in this case.
