G3 and Formac proFormance PCI

This concerns compatibility of the Formac ProFormance 8MB PCI Graphics
card and the G3 Macintosh 266 Mhz. After installing the card there are
lots of display problems. It works OK but the mac is really unstable,
Sorry to be so vague, there are all types of problems.

I switched off the Formac softeare and reconnected the monitor to the
standard monitor port and everything is fine again.

Is this a problem card or is there a conflict maybe?
