     That was Ecitnerppa's idea, too. (Neat: "Ecitnerppa" is
"apprentice" spelled backwards!)  A new vs. old speed comparison would
be fun. If, the old GALs introduce less delay and, as Todd notes, REP
and SEP are the main instructions affected, the old GALs would show
better speed; but, the difference would be very small.
