When setting up my IIgs I wanted to use a 5.25 Disk Controller Card
for maximum compatibility with older games, so I stuck it in slot 6
and set it to My Card. However now when I boot it gets to my 5.25"
drive and if there's no disk in there it hangs and never gets to my
3.5" drive in slot 5. I think I know the problem, the old 5.25"
controller isn't smart enough to give up and pass control back, but
what I want to know is how to fix it?
Can I put the 5.25" card in a slot other than 6? Can I say stick it
in slot 1 (which I'm not using) so that it's the last thing that the
system tries to boot from, or does it need to be in 6 for some
reason? If so, is there a way to make it try my 3.5" drive first?
