And actually, yes, thank you very much for the clarification. While I did not
get all the posts to this yet, it seems that you are saying my ISP's Usenet
feed is not getting as much as it should (not even DejaNews gets every
posting).

So, I went to DejaNews and did a filter query for comp.emulators.apple2 and
saw 126 for the month of January thus far. I should have done this before
posting (instead of just checking locally). So, I apologize for the erroneous
statement and like Bob Metcalfe, will gladly eat my words.

BTW, my ISP actually picked up 3 today for some reason. It usually has a
decent feed (using DejaNews to compare with) with all the other groups I
browse. Also, when I said the newsgroups weren't active I didn't mean
absolutely no posts but very few (FAQ reposts and spam always seem to get
through).

However, that is still a tenth of the traffic that goes on in this group and
has gone down from the past. This one has gone from 19k in 96 to 16k in 97.
That's not as bad as I thought it was by a long shot admittedly, maybe it has
just been the signal to noise ratio.

Sincerely,
