On this day, 10 years ago...

    This is kind of wasting bandwidth, but I thought I'd share that
today -- January 26, 1998, marks exactly 10 years (to the VERY day)
that I have owned and have been using an Apple IIgs! :-) I find it
kind of remarkable that a full decade later, the machine still sits
on my desk -- connected and being used regularly. Not too mention I
continue to have a strong interest in it.

    I still have fond memories of the day I unpacked my (then brand
new) GS and set it up. I doubt any other computer I buy in future
will provide as much excitement as the GS did for me on that day.
Sure the 486 (and now a P133) I added to the side close to a year
ago was pretty fun and exciting to explore, but still not nearly
as much as the GS was for some reason that I can't explain. Anyhow,
I just feel kind of nostaligic about it, which is why I'm writing
this little blurb here... :)
