I would say yes as those cards have two different drivers under GS/OS.
I won't tell about power consumption due to the installation of the
two cards.
But, I would say that a High Speed DMA is sufficient to handle all of
your partitions (unless you have two HDD)

This is the main advantage of the Apple card over the RAMFast,
dynamically mount partitions (I hear those you will tell me that there
is a third-party driver that does something pretty similar with the
RAMFast)
