I once worked on such an Apple ][. It was just like a regular Apple
][, except that it was in a wooden frame, and had a different
(detached) keyboard. I only worked on it once, so that's all I know
about it. Seemed to me that it was an unusual clone (whoever made this
one chose to build it that particular way, instead of following tha
Apple "standard" pattern, as did most clone makers).

Indeed, that computer brings back memories... I was about ten years
old, and it was also the time that I obtained my first floppy disk
(given to me by a colleague of my father's). I remember how thrilled I
was when he showed me that I could punch out the notch, to use the
other side... which meant I could have LOGO on one side, and my
programs on the other! I still have that disk, somewhere.
