A little more info would be handy to help diagnose the problem.  Exactly 
what happens when you try to boot?  Does the disk drive operate for a 
short time then stops?  Do you get a message that says "Unable to load 
Prodos?" Do you get a message that say "Check Startup Device" and lastly, 
does the power light come on?  These are little tidbits that will help us 
help you in tracking down whats wrong.
