Re: Clock card preference

Randy and 'macuming' couldn't help but dribble:

m | The other is a Thunderclock Plus, wiht the number 880-02 in the
   | upper right hand corner, and is powered by smaller 1.5v batts

N-cells, to be exact.

RS| I have an AI Applied Time II clock myself, which is Thunderclock
   | compatible. On it you can do a PR# to the card's slot to get a
   | menu to set the time. That might not be a normal Thunderclock

I have a Clockworks card by Micro Systems Research which is also
Thunderclock compatable (complete with using a POKE and PR# to set the
time, no menu though). It uses a coin cell.

My clock of choice is the No-Slot Clock; I've never had a problem with
it that couldn't be fixed by the SmartWatch utility. Yes, far as I
know the battery can't be replaced or easily accessed so you wind up
tossing it eventually but new ones are readily available (for $20).
