Apple 2 Parallel interface card

I am in posession of an Apple II parallel interface card.  Can anybode
refer me to some documentation on how to properly set this up for a
parallel-port printer?  I looked at Apple's online materials for the
settings, tried a few and was unable to get it to work.  I suspect a bad
card but I wanted to be absolutely sure (I noticed a replacement would
be rather expensive)

Any help would be appreciated,
