Can I create a synthlab instrument with my Audio Animator?

Hello everyone,


    I would like to be able to sample a sound or instrument with my Audio
Animator, and then be able to synthesize that instrument with a music
program.

    For example, I would like to be able to sample a Whistle.  Can I whistle
into the Audio animator (lets use the note C), and then use a program to
turn this whistle into an instrument, which would be able to play the notes
A-G?
