Sorry, I didnt explain myself correctly.  I am talking of the Liron card 
that is inside and part of a 3.5 Unidisk, not the Unidisk controller that 
goes in the computer.  

The card has another set of connectors identical to the set being used by 
the mech which arent loaded in marked as drive 2 upper making a dual 3.5 
Unidisk with a cable to go to the conroller card and a jack to daisy-chain.

I was curious if the firmware on the card supported the extra mech or 
they were put in for possible expansion at a later date and would have 
needed a firmware update.  

Geez...where are my Apple Technotes when I need em?
