What card are you talking about?  The card I know of as "Liron" is the
"Apple 3.5 Floppy Disk Drive Interface Card" (or something similar to
that), which is an interface card that plugs into a IIe to allow you to
connect one or more UniDisk 3.5 drives.

It sounds like you are talking about the interface card inside the
UniDisk 3.5 itself.

I suspect that the hardware will support two drive mechanisms, but the
firmware will not.  The only way you would be able to use the second
mechanism would be to download some controlling software into the
UniDisk.  It might be possible to install some patches to make it always
use a second drive instead of the standard drive, but this doesn't seem
to gain much.
