It is pin compatible and will physically fit in the memory
expansion slot under the keyboard; however, there were timing
differences that made it not compatible in the Apple IIc Plus.
You either had to perform some sort of modification or purchase
a 3rd party memory board like the AE RamExpress or SS RAM IIc.
A couple of people here have reported the Apple brand card
worked fine in their Apple IIc Plus, so it's possible Apple
modified later boards that were sold.
