Speaking of Christmas, this is usually the time of year that we
see programs unexpectedly released (the other time of course is mid-
summer, during KFest). I wouldn't mind seeing Wolfenstein 3D finally
released, or Kaboom!. :-) Even a demo would be neat, something along
the lines of the FTA XMas Demo or the Digital Exodus Xmas Demo'93
although not necessarily as large.
As for the fighting, a large part of it is due to the fact there
is nothing *new* to discuss or play with for the Apple II. At least
a few good programs released here and there might help keep people's
interest on the _computer_ and not each other's throats. If the most
productive thing that can be accomplished by this newsgroup is
fighting, threats, name calling and insults, then I'm not going to
stick around much longer (or at the very least just start browsing
message headers every couple of weeks and turn into a lurker mostly).
