Animations from paint programs?

Hey folks, I just bought two paint programs second hand.
One is Platinum Paint 2.0 and the other is DreamGraphix.
Neither came with manuals, but I was able to figure out
most of the functions except one.  How do you generate
animations from these paint programs?  I got as far as
creating the first frame of the animation in the file,
but how do you add the second, third, and so on frames?
