You can connect several types of 3.5" Drives to a IIe, including 1.44 Meg
Superdrives (Requires Superdrive Card for the IIe/IIgs), 800K Unidisks,
requires the Unidisk Card or UDC, with the UDC you can connect 800K
Platinum 3.5 (IIgs/Mac style Disks to the IIe). You can also use PC 1.44
Meg Floppies with the Blue Disk Controller Card.

You may not be able to copy some kinds of files (ie, early games) between
disks, files can be copied back and forth, Appleworks, Data Base and
Spread Sheets, subject to space availability. The 5.25's only have a very
small capacity compared to the 800K disks and miniscule compared to the
1.44 Meg Disks. With the Superdrive Card and shareware you can also read
PC and Mac files into a IIe through a number of programs.

I just sold the last Superdrive Card I had...
