the hard facts that in the pre-clone year of 1995, Apple sold 4.5
million machines, and in 1997, it sold 3 mil. From 95-97, the cloners
managed to sell less than 500,000 (half a million) machines. Those
cloners did NOT take away from Apple if you look at hard numbers, not
Jobs's lame excuses for why Apple's now slipped to #8 with a 3.3%
market share.
