Actually, the Duet was developed. However, the appearance of "low cost"
Macintoshes (such as the classic & LC), a high price (as much as the
previously mentioned macintoshes), and severe limitations (the
macintosh environment was run in a window, with no correction for
the greater vertical resolution of the mac) killed it.
