Yes, although it will require swapping the analog board from inside
a Disk II into the Disk III (I've not tried to see how well the analog
board fits, but I know it has been done and the reverse as well).
The actual floppy mechanisms are identical in both drives, they use
the same Shugart 5.25 (140K, single-sided). The only difference is the
analog board _inside_ along with the cable leading off it, which is a
IDC-26 female on the Disk III rather than the IDC-20 most Apple II
users are familar with.
