Try it and see. It should not hurt anything to try. I have not looked for sure
but it might be the the drive that will work will be the second drive instead
of the first one. One of the signal wires gets crossed in the first drive and
that is what allows the cpu to access the second drive. If the //c is
outputting to the second drive from the external drive port then the second
drive will be the one that works. If the //c actually treats an external drive
as the first one then the first drive will work.
Let us know what you find out.
