I'm having difficulty making a CD from my download of Golden Orchard
and/or Golden Grail. I'm guessing it has to do with file structure
assigned by the PC I used to download... but I don't know. Cider Press
can open these files up just fine to reveal all of the files within.
The IIGS is running 6.0.1 and works just fine with one hard drive
formatted to HFS, so I don't think HFS is the issue.
When I boot up with Golden Orchard in the CDROM, I get a nice icon which
opens to "GoldenO_ISO.1". Clicking on it the GS says "Unable to open
this file". If I put the CD in a Mac, it can't open it either.
When I boot up with Golden Grail, I can open the CD and read the three
text files, and open the folder with the GO disks, but I can't get any
of the 32 meg partitions to open.
I'm sure I'm missing some link; or may have to burn the CD somehow
differently. I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ's, but I hope someone
here could steer me in the right direction. I'm sure just one little
thing is stopping me.
