Sorta the Apple II world's version of uuencode|binhex|base64, but
with a whole bunch of features that make it run rights around those
others. For more info on this and MANY more Apple II subjects, drop by
the comp.sys.apple2 Fequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html Section 5.* should get
you up to speed on how to download and unpack.

As listed in the FAQ, 8-bit Shrinkit is at version 3.4; GS Shrinkit
is at 1.1. Locations are given for where to get the latest versions,
though you'll want to make sure that you have a recent version of
GS/OS (FAQ section 9) before you grab GS Shrinkit. [And GS Shrinkit is
required to unpack GS/OS software, such as the aforementioned
Turkeyshoot]

As for buying/selling stuff, check out either
comp.sys.apple2.marketplace or the sets of vendors listed in section
10 of the FAQ.
