    Sure, if your talking about 16-bit applications under Windows 95,
then it is doing cooperative. Yet 32-bit applications do preemptive
multitasking on the same OS, and as was just stated, most of those
old 16-bit applications have been ported to 32-bit so the point is
almost moot.

    I'm *not* trying to state Windows 95 is the god-of-all-operating-
systems (its FAR cry from it) I'm just comparing it against MacOS 
for multitasking. Do you _really_ believe Win95 and MacOS are on par 
with each other for multitasking? (If so, may I return your "Hahaha" 
from above back to you? :)
