   You will need some device that translates the ntsc video out from
the Apple II to a 'channel', if your TV does not have a video in jack
already. [And if it does have that, just get a male-male 'rca' cable,
and you can use that for video.] If no video in on the TV, you can use
a vcr with a video in jack, or a 'RF Modulator' (available at Radio
Shack or the like, but those may overcharge drastically-- I wouldn't
pay more than $10) to convert. In short, this is a quite doable setup
that has been done lots of times.

   The Atari game adapter may be broken, or it may be designed to
translate from a different frequencyspace than the Apple II provides.
