Re: OS For IIGS
Steve outgassed these toxic fumes:
| The beautiful thing is that a Windows NT machine takes me about
| 25 keystrokes and 1/2 an hour to set up. And the thing is rock
| solid, as long as you don't try to do anything hokey (like put
| cheesy hardware in the box).
Um, you meant to say "The beautiful thing about buying an Aptiva at
Radio Shack is that the only thing you have to do after flipping the
switch since everything is pre-installed is enter the Windows 95
registration number." Oh, and "as long as you don't add anything at all
to the box" since it is set up for ONLY what came in the cardboard.
DN(| **that** is stability in a mainstream OS.
And happily ProDOS is a mainstream OS because **that** is true
stability. Windows staying stable for more than a few functions
is part luck and part myth. I'm glad you have a peecee that
is reliable and whatever your using it for doesn't cause crashes.
You are, from what I have seen and heard, in the minority.
* 2qwk! 2.04 * Yes, I'm a college graduate. Would you like fries with that?
