If you can get your hands on a copy of Gus, you'll be pirating. Apple has
only released Gus to people who have signed a NDA (Non-disclosure
Agreement).

The emulator you would want (which is available NOW, legally) is Bernie ][
the Rescue. Bernie is much better than Gus, and will provide support for
both ROM 01 and ROM 3 machines. It currently does not support 5.25" disk
images, but it will soon. PLUS, it sees the Mac floppy drive as a IIgs
drive (without PC Exchange). It can be configured to give the Virtual GS
up to 8 megabytes of RAM.

Bernie is $25 shareware from FE Systems (Henrik Gudat and co.) it can be
found at the following URL:

I will say that the current version (1.0.1) is one of the best software
programs I have ever used.
