The Media Control DA will do this, assuming you've installed the
RamFAST SCSI II CD-ROM media drivers (if not, see ground).
However, you won't hear a thing because the sound goes out the
back RCA ports, not through the GS sound system. You need a
2-channel stereo mixer, available from Radio Shack or J&R Music
World. Plug the GS into one channel with a patch cord (stereo
cord only, or you'll short out the miniature jack) and plug
the CD-ROM into the second channel. Plug the speakers into
the mixer's output, adjust levels to match, and that's it.
