Where do you connect your mouse after doing this? :) I kind
of like the idea of having a serial connector for the mouse and a
separate connector for the joystick on the PC. The Apple IIgs at
least has _both_ an ADB port and a joystick port, so each can be
connected at once. Yes, I'm aware of daisying-chaing ADB devices,
but I assume Mac joysticks/gamepads are designed to be placed at
the end of a chain and have no female ADB connector plug.

As I said above, MAME PC (and I believe System 16 as well) do
have support for joysticks, gamepads and trackballs, in addition
to the default keyboard support. Gamepad support is especially
nice on the Nintendo and SuperNintendo emulators. :)
