Jason,
Appleworks 4.3 (sold by Scantron Quality Computers - http://www.sqc.com)
will work just fine on the //e - as long as it IS an enhanced //e (you see
//e instead of ][e when you fire it up. We sell it for $99.95. This is
the latest version of Appleworks that will work on a //e without a hard
drive.
As for printshop, I have NO idea...you'll have to keep hunting, since
Broderbund stopped making it, and therefore, all the copies out there are
used.
