WANTED: HTML for ][e...

I have this little project I have been kicking around for a long time.  I
have two ]['s sitting on my desk...one is a IIgs, the other is an enhanced
//e.

On the //e, I have lots of data files, containing a wide variety of
information.  What I DON'T have is a good way of retrieving that
information from the //e's hard drive.

It occurs to me that an easy way to handle this would be to encode
everything into HTML (a fairly trivial task, really) and use an HTML
interpreter...a "Lynx ][e" sort of application.  It isn't a network
application, just a local-drive task.  But HTML would be a good standard,
because if I wanted to share this linked information with someone else, I
could just transfer the HTML-encoded files and that person could then use
his favorite web browser as a viewer.

So before I attempt to write an HTML display engine and try to learn how
to call the ProDOS MLI, I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this before.
 Hey, if there is something out there, it would sure save me a lot of
effort... 8-)
