Hmmm...

The Panasonic CT-1384Y 13" broadcast production monitor with S-Video input
cannot even come close to the resolution of my 'standard' Apple RGB monitor.

It seems to me that the only real advantage to such a product is the
ability to use a larger screen.  And you could do almost as well with the
NTSC composite video output from the GS (since it has one, unlike *ahem*
certain machines I can name).  

I haven't seen the product in question.  Just reporting my experience with
monitors at work.  I get better video on my GS monitor through the VOC
than I get using the same source with a broadcast monitor.  So I am
keeping my GS-RGB.  8-)
