I'm fairly sure one exists for the Apple 3.5 drive, in fact I
can remember two such programs (one which was a ProDOS 8 *.SYSTEM
file and one which was a small Applesoft BASIC program). I would
have to do some disk digging to find it.

That exists as well. I found such a program on an old hardrive
I purchased a couple of years back, it was another small ProDOS 8
program which would boot slot 5, drive 1 as soon as you ran it.
(there was an identical program that did the same for slot 6).
This I definitely know exists because I archived the two files
before reformatting that drive.
