If you need termination power try
APS SCSI Sentry for 39.95 plus
19.95 for the termination power
power supply. It lets you know if
the SCSI bus supplies termination
power using a green led, if the bus
does not have term power you can
use the power supply. It also
optimizes the SCSI bus by filtering
out line noise . I have two of them
one on a IIGS. It works great , I used
to have trouble booting the hard
drive on my IIGS, until I installed the
SCSI sentry.
APS Technologies sells a SCSI
terminator , that supplies external
termination power. It uses a power
adaptor included with the terminator
to supply termination power if the
computer does not supply term
power. The terminator also has
indicator lights red & green.
One light indicates that the SCSI
chain has termination power, & two
lights one red & one green arrow
light flash letting you know the SCSI
chain is operating properly. It's called
SCSI Sentry II for 69.95 (item
# 1009-018 ). They have their
original SCSI Sentry for 39.95 (item
#1009-017) plus 19.95 for the
termination power adaptor ( item#
101173). The SCSI Sentry also
improves SCSI performance. APS
phone# is 800-395-5862 & web site
address is www.apstech.com.
