Why not?
At home, I have a IIgs, a pair of ][e's, and a //c that needs repair.
Between them, they do most of the things that I want a computer at home to
do, and then some...word processing, email, data storage, expense
tracking...and as a bonus, I can program all of them in Applesoft or 6502
Assembler. I do have a Psion 3a for my portable computing, but at home,
the ]['s are all I use. They are more than adequate computing horsepower
*for me*. And for what I have invested in *all* of the A]['s (including
all of the upgrades I have bought for the IIgs), I could probably buy a
brand new Pentium MMX *cpu*...and perhaps a box to put it in.
Besides, I've been using Apple ]['s since about 1981...that predates the
IBM-PC, mind you...and that is the machine I am comfortable with. Not the
only one I use, mind you...I mean, at work I have to deal with PC's,
Macintoshes, Suns, and an Amiga. But the A][ is still my favorite.
