Limitations? Well, the pinouts, sizes, and connector positions are
different between the GS and //e. There's a huge difference betwen the
//e where memory past the first 64K was a bad hack (as opposed to the
much cleaner and saner design of the Apple III, which got thrown out
for some stupid reason by a company some would prefer to whitewash),
and the GS, where 24-bit (up to 16MB) is an inherent part of the
design.
