Just bought Apple Works GS today at Goodwill. It has all the
original disks and all the manuals including the registration info
package with the registration card still inside and not filled out.
Best thing is, the entire package cost $1.95; now I just hope it works
still. Haven't tested it out yet.
BTW, while we were there at Goodwill, someone put a hold sticker on
that GS that I mentioned in a previous post. Just to try to save the
buyer some grief, I went ahead and told her (in front of the sales
clerk that was helping her) that the tag on it is wrong and there is
no hard drive in the system. The sales clerk just seemed to shrug me
off, but the customer appreciated the info and went ahead and shelled
out the $130 for it anyway. Now that I think about it, I probably
should have warned her that this was not a Macintosh and would not be
able to run Mac software... I probably should have also offered to
make some system disks for her as well...
