Where to get help in NYC?

I'm posting this for my Dad who has a MAC that is at least 8 years old
(not sure of model).  I think he is having problems with his hard
drive, but I don't know the MAC operating system well enough to help,
and he needs someone nearby to run diagnostics or to provide in-person
troubleshooting.  

Finding someone in NYC to do this couldn't be THAT hard, but I have no
idea where to look for someone reputatable!  Can anyone give me some
ideas on where to look?  He lives in Brooklyn, NY
