1) Not everyone *wants* to switch internet providers or take on a
different service for the sake of one of their computer interests, for
starters!!  And 2) not everyone can afford to pay for multiple accounts
each month if they don't switch.  And finally, WHY should people
interested in Apple II *have* to migrate to Genie OR Delphi????!  In
case you haven't noticed, the name of this group is
comp.sys.apple2--that is, it's a group for Apple II information.

"Surviving" to me means much more than belonging to a small "niche"
group outside of the main internet loop as you are interested in
furthering here.  This all goes back to the main idea that certain
individuals here want to continue to dictate how we, the Apple II users,
should use our Apple II's, and now, what internet providers we should
have as well if we are serious about our use of these computers.
Pathetic.
