Mike is talking about DR DOS, not MS-DOS, nor DOS on them machines.  DR DOS
was the competing (and seemingly technologically better DOS) on the Wintel
machines made by Digital?  It was sold to Novell, and eventually stamped out
through mediocre sales and court battles with Microsoft.
