I do understand supplemental income from the Apple II, however you are missing
 the big picture. This newsgroup is to help Apple II users not to toss shit.
 From my short time connected to this newsgroup I have found that quite a few
 people are quite talented at throwing shit! No, I do not support piracy of the
 Apple or the Mac or the MS DOS platform. Hell, until a week ago I didn't even
 know who Dr. Tom or Nathan Mates were. I did know Joe from my days writing for
 NIBBLE. I have given Joe the OK to use some of my software for his projects
 and I hope he can  make a living from his endeavor. But I digress; the point
 is, whining about piracy belongs in a whining about piracy newsgroup. Piracy
 did not kill the Apple II. Steve Jobs killed the Apple II because he could not
 deal with the fact that Woz's machine far surpassed his 3rd apparent failure,
 the black & white Mac. So please, enough of the whining and the flaming. Let's
 concentrate on the reason of thie newsgroup-helping other Apple users. Also,
 it's time for Nathan Mates to free the hostage - the FAQ's. Thanks for your
 comments and your rationalizations.
