ROTFL. I love hearing Christianity called 'a cult'. Actually, some religions
still don't recognise the Greggory calendar [eg. the Jews, AFAIR... don't
they have their year 1 starting at what they believe the beginning of the
world, about 4000BC or so. So to them, any 'year 2000' celebration is
meaningless.

My personal belief is that if the world want's to use the Christian calendar
then hunky dory for it. But they shouldn't go mucking around with it a few
centurys later, just because they can't be stuffed waiting an extra year to
get piss drink on New Year's Eve ;-)
