I don't want to start a nitpicking contest :-), but I think it was the other
way around. The "Acid Test" pamphlet I once received from an angry Apple
employee (just kidding) said that the "GS" is uppercase if it can be written a
few points smaller than the rest. It has to be lowercase if there's only one
font size available.

BTW, isn't the startup text on a IIgs "Apple IIgs"?
