Because people aren't necessarily friends of 'Turkey' just because they
happen to be on execpc.com... anymore than we could claim the Mike
Horvath (who I presume to be a sysadmin of visi.com) is a pal of yours
and has 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' attitude, by
condoning your illegal activities on the site.

It's a shonky presumption, pure and simple.

So you're saying that whoever put this 'pirate site' up within exec [and
I'm not sure whether it was 1) Apple 2 stuff or 2) Done by Turley] should
apologise publically in the Apple // group [was it Apple stuff?]. I have
never, ever, seen a single case where an ISP who finds pirate information
on their site will apologise for it having been there... they'll just
delete it, and try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Also unclear from your post was whether whoever it was that put the stuff
on their site was the one who removed it, or was it an sysadmin who removed
it, or a sysadmin who uploaded the stuff in the first place].
