Randy you are correct The latest operating system MACOS 8 will no longer
allow me to transport 800k disks formatted HFS back and forth between my
Apple IIGS and my power MAC 6400. MACOS 7.6 did but no longer. For me it
seems that it it is not the MAC but the operating system which no longer
supports the 800K floppy.

I do not know if there is a workaround for this at this time. I don't
know where to find info about this problem. Perhaps you could e-mail me
with solutions. The only solution I have found is to return to MACOS
7.6.1 or older or get two ZIP drives one for the MAC and one for the GS to
allow me to transport wares back and forth.

Thanks
