Re: GS 1 meg board -- more room?
On a related note...
At home, my IIgs has 5.25 Mb RAM. That's 256k on the motherboard, 4Mb on
a fully-populated RAM card (not sure which one off-hand), and 1Mb on an
Apple GS RAM card fitted into a little piggy-back slot on the 4Mb card.
At work, where I just bought the 768k for the Apple RAM card to bring that
machine up to 1.25Mb, I'm thinking about upgrading. Is this 'piggy-back'
solution available for any of the current RAM cards, say, the Sirius for
instance? Or will I just need to abandon the 1Mb card? I'm thinking
about getting a nice fat RAM card, putting it in the machine at home, and
moving the 5Mb combo to the office...is it possible to use, say, a Sirius
with 7Mb installed plus the Apple 1Mb card?
Just wondering...
