For viewing graphics with a double-click, there's a nice Finder Extra
called PicViewer by Brutal Deluxe. There's a similar one called ShowPic.
And there's a shareware one called "Eye"

For sounds, lets see, there's "Ear." Not sure what else is there. Others
will know.

You bet. If you have HyperCard IIgs, try this - put your "ScriptersTools"
stack in the *:System:Sounds folder and reboot. All the sounds in its
resource fork will be available to the Sounds Control Panel. Same with any
other rSounds, either in the resource fork of some other file or in a
resource fork all by itself.

There are a number of sound players. I've used "Minstrel" from SoftDisk
GS. NinjaForce's site has a .MOD player that may suit you. There are
surely others.
